Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Quetis, LLC trading as "Quetis" ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use the Quetis Photo App (the "Service"). We are the data controller of the personal data we process about you.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash, display name, avatar.
  • Content: photos you upload and projects you save.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, photo-export counts, device and browser type, IP address (used for security and abuse prevention).
  • Support data: messages you send us.
  • Billing data: handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record (see below); we receive only a customer identifier and subscription metadata, never your full card details.

2. Why we use it (purposes & legal basis)

  • Provide the Service (account creation, photo storage, frame rendering, exports) — performance of contract.
  • Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests.
  • Improving the product (aggregate usage analytics) — legitimate interests.
  • Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interests.
  • Legal compliance (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests) — legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

  • Paddle.com — Merchant of Record for our sales, handles payments, subscription management, invoicing, and tax compliance.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the Service on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. tax records). Saved photos are deleted when you delete the underlying project or your account.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction or deletion;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • port your data to another service;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • complain to your local data-protection authority.

You can exercise these rights through the in-app Account page or by emailing quetis3d@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure-level isolation, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and similar storage required to keep you signed in and the Service functional. We do not use marketing cookies.
